HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript are three separate languages that work together to create web pages and web applications. HTML creates structure, CSS styles the markup, and JavaScript creates interactivity.

The first place to start is the Introduction to HTML and CSS, which covers a lot of ground so you can get up to speed on the basics. In fact, most of what you need to know to build effective websites is covered there.

JavaScript is the future of the web. More and more of the logic is making its way to the client side in order to facilitate lightning-fast user experiences. JavaScript is even moving to the server side with Node.js. That’s why in this course we’ll be diving deep into it to make sure you come out with a good understanding of how it works.
